Before and After Commercial Painting - Belmar Shopping Center

Excellent Painters was hired to paint the facade of a commercial strip mall. This is the part above the front doors/windows. This is where the business’ sign or logo will appear.

The material is older yellowed plexiglass.

Our crew went out on the first day and power washed everything. Then they masked off the signs and trim to make sure there would be no paint getting where it wasn’t wanted. Then they sprayed on primer to make sure the final color would adhere correctly to the plexiglass.

When they started painting, the property manager came out and decided the paint color was too dark, so they switched to lighter color.

This photo, below, shows one panel, on the left with the original color and some primer. On the right is a panel that is partially painted black color.

Finally, it all got painted in a dark grey color. A little lighter than the black, but not as light as the primer.

The property managers came back out and inspected the work. They were very happy with the end result and have hired Excellent Painters to paint some garages and other areas in the Belmar shopping complex.
